Your data, looked after.

Yours. Every register, every receipt, every grade — the school owns it. SkoolRite is the place you keep it, and we’re here to look after it.

We never sell your data. We never share it with advertisers. We don’t look at it ourselves, except when you ask us to help with something specific.

To make SkoolRite work, we save the things your school types in and a few details about how the app is being used. In plain words:

• School information. The school name, classes, terms, fees, attendance, grades, and notices you create.
• People’s details. Names, phone numbers and emails of staff, parents and students added by the school.
• Sign-in information. The phone number or email used to sign in, plus a hint of which device was used.
• Light usage signals. Things like “the parent app opened” or “a register was saved.” It helps us keep everything running smoothly.

We use your information for four simple reasons:

• To run the app. Showing you the right register, the right balance, the right report card.
• To keep things safe. Spotting strange sign-ins and stopping people who shouldn’t be there.
• To help when you ask. If you email us, we’ll look at what’s needed to sort the problem — nothing more.
• To make SkoolRite better. Quiet, anonymous signals that show us which screens feel slow or confusing.

The short version: only the people in your school, and only the bits they need to do their job.

• Heads and admins see the whole school.
• Teachers see their classes and their students.
• Parents see their own children — fees, attendance, grades, notices.
• Students see their own timetable and grades.

Schools don’t see other schools. Ever. Each school is fully separated.

Your school’s information is stored on trusted servers run by reputable partners. It travels over encrypted connections and is backed up regularly, so nothing goes missing if a phone breaks or a laptop is stolen.

For a small number of features — like sending notice emails and delivering app notifications — we pass the bare minimum to specialist partners who help us with that single job.

Student profiles are created by the school, not by the children themselves. Parents or guardians are always linked to a child’s information.

If a child no longer attends your school, the school can remove their profile, and we will help do so on request.

You’re in control. At any time you can:

• Ask to see a copy of the information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct something that isn’t quite right.
• Ask us to remove your account (school admins can do this directly).
• Turn off notifications from inside the app.

We take security seriously — quiet, boring, careful security. Passwords are scrambled, connections are encrypted, and access is limited to a small handful of trusted teammates.

If anything ever goes wrong, we’ll let you know quickly, honestly and plainly — no jargon, no hiding.

We may update this page from time to time as SkoolRite grows. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top. If something big changes, we’ll tell you inside the app too.
